Marcel Bink

Press Release, February 2009 –Wellnomics, the manufacturers and creators of the WorkPace® and Risk Management® ergonomic software, has appointed Marcel Bink (46) as its Country Manager for the Netherlands. From its offices in Amstelveen, Marcel will be working closely with the local Wellnomics team to further optimize the service and support for its new and existing customers.

“With the appointment of Marcel Bink we have hired a highly experienced professional with over fifteen years in senior positions in the IT industry,” says Dr. Kevin Taylor, CEO and co-founder of Wellnomics. “Wellnomics has been servicing and supporting the WorkPace® and Risk Management® clients in the Netherlands direct since September 2008. The appointment of Marcel, as well as other recent staff additions in Amstelveen, is a clear sign of our commitment to the Netherlands, which is one of our core markets. It will further help us to expand our existing high quality client base and leverage this success towards new customers here and the rest of Europe.”

“More than 750 companies, organizations and institutes in the Netherlands are using the Wellnomics WorkPace® ergonomic software. The company is therefore well positioned to take the strong Dutch focus on employee health and corporate wellness initiatives to the next level,” says Marcel Bink. “Especially with the aging (working) population and the challenges offered by a shrinking workforce, we expect an increased demand for our knowledge and solutions to maximize the health and wellbeing of office workers. I really look forward to be part of that development,” he adds.

Prior to joining Wellnomics Marcel Bink was responsible for the global partner policy at RES Software in ‘sHertogenbosch, where he lead a team of nine channel managers in 18 countries. Before that he worked as the Managing Director at Profinity ICT in Woerden, a company he co-founded in 2000, until it was bought by Sylis.
